Welcome everybody !
“Mandala”, in sanskrit language, means “extracting the essence”. The goal or the essence of our life being happiness, the mandala is a tool helping us to achieve this goal. There are many kinds of mandala, but in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition monks make traditional mandalas with colored sand. The technique used is so amazing and impressive.
During this workshop, we will learn how to use the tools the monks use while making mandala and have a chance to practice this art. This is also a wonderful method to help us develop mindfulness, concentration, patience and letting go.
The workshop will also include a short talk about Meditation and Happiness and short periods of group meditation. This will be for sure a wonderful experience to share this time of practice together.
